Agility in Sweden – how do I register to a competition?
To add a dog in AgilityData it must first be registered in SKK Hunddata (Hunddata is a database owned by the Swedish Kennel Club)
If your dog has a FCI pedigree you need to send a copy of the pedigree to reg@skk.se.
Dogs without a FCI pedigree must have a competition license, ”tävlingslicens”, with a license number , send an email to tavling@skk.se.
Agilitydata.se – Creating and editing an account
To be able to enter and pay for competitions in Sweden, you must have an account in AgilityData. If you do not already have an account, click Log in and then Sign up.
Each account must have a unique username and a unique email address. When creating an account, some information is mandatory and is marked with a red asterisk (*).
If you also choose to register yourself as a handler (which can be done in the same step), it is mandatory to enter a membership number. Some clubs do not use membership numbers; in that case, your name should be entered instead. If the system does not accept your postal code, please use 12345 instead.
Registering and editing handlers
When creating an account, you have the option to register yourself as a handler. If you did not do so at that time, this can be done later. It is also possible to register additional handlers. This is done under My account – My handlers – New handler.
A handler can be edited later by going to My account – My handlers and clicking the edit icon (a small square icon in the top right corner). If the handler already exists under another account, you can send a link request to that account and link the handler to your account, allowing you to use that handler when entering competitions. More information about this can be found under Link handler.
Registering and editing a dog in Agilitydata
To register a dog, go to My account – My dogs – New dog, and enter the dog’s registration number or competition licence number.
To edit a dog’s information, go to My account – My dogs and click the edit icon (a small square icon in the top right corner). Since much of the dog’s information is retrieved from SKK Hunddata, several details cannot be edited by the user. You can always change the dog’s call name and select which classes the dog competes in.
If the dog is a Swedish champion, this can be registered here. A small star will then appear after the dog’s name in entry lists, start lists and result lists (in Class 3). This is not only a nice detail, but also helpful for the competition management, as it indicates that the dog is fully certified and avoids the need for further verification.
Registering and editing teams
To be able to enter a competition, the handler and the dog must be linked together as a team. This is done under My account – My teams.
Now that you have created an account and registered yourself, your dog and your team, you can go to Competitions and select the event you wish to enter.
If you need help with the system, please contact support@agida.se.
